Special Order Dragons
There are two types of special order dragons, Wise Ones and Ancient Dragons.
The "Wise Ones" dragons are approximately 13" high with a wing span of approximately 20". They have hands sculpted of polymer clay. Their wings are wired for shaping. The head ornamentations vary, some have sculpted horns, some have blended thread eye ruffs like the Royals. They can hold a variety of objects from staffs to wands to minerals. These dragons evolve as I work on them and I get a feel for what it is they want to express. Customers may request a general color preference and we go from there.
The Ancient Dragons are for very serious collectors with a log of space. These dragons are about 3' tall and 3' wide. From belly to tail tip they can vary from 45" to 55" in length. They claim BIG space, both physically and energetically. Like the Wise Ones, they have hands, and sometimes horns, sculpted of polymer clay. The head ornamentation varies greatly. The wings are wired for shaping. Past dragons have held wands, staffs, orbs, crystal clusters, and a large shell filled with pearls, small shells and seaweed. Some Ancients wear pendants. Customers have given me stones that are special to them, to work into the piece. As with the Wise Ones, this process is very organic and they grow as the energy of the dragon dictates.
